Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, September 2024 – Christie Knittel Mabry has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at Merz Therapeutics. In her new role, Christie will be instrumental in shaping the human resources strategy and enhancing organizational effectiveness within the company.
Christie Knittel Mabry brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She most recently served as the Executive Director of People and Experience at Sage Therapeutics for nearly 2 years. During her tenure, she focused on leadership, organizational development, and fostering a positive work environment.
Prior to Sage Therapeutics, Christie was the Chief People Officer at BioAgilytix for approximately 7 months, where she led strategic HR initiatives and supported organizational growth. Her earlier role at Biogen spanned over 14 years, where she held various leadership positions including HR Leader for Global Quality and Regulatory CMC and HR Leader for Global Manufacturing Operations. In these roles, Christie was responsible for global HR strategies and programs.
Additionally, Christie has experience as a Senior Leadership Development/OD Leader at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina for 2 years, where she managed change leadership and performance management initiatives. She also served as VP of HR Operations at GPI/CARQUEST for just over a year, overseeing HR functions and operationalizing E-HR processes.
