Chicago, Illinois, United States, September 2025 – Christine Castans has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at FWRM Labs, a forward-thinking company committed to revolutionizing medicine through radical transparency and paradigm-shifting innovation. In her new role, Christine will be responsible for driving FWRM Labs’ people strategy, advancing organizational culture, and aligning HR practices to accelerate the company’s mission of medical progress through deep curiosity and bold thinking.
Prior to joining FWRM Labs, Christine Castans served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at William Charles Construction Company, LLC, a MasTec Company, where she played a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business strategies for over a year. Her work focused on workforce planning, performance management, and talent optimization in a complex construction and infrastructure environment.
Before that, she was Human Resources Business Partner at US LBM, where she served for nearly a year supporting HR functions across distributed teams in a remote setting. She was instrumental in managing employee relations, onboarding, and employee engagement for a major building materials distributor.
Her earlier tenure includes over two years at Blackhawk Network as a Human Resources Business Partner, where she supported talent strategies in a fast-paced consumer financial services environment. She also contributed significantly to performance evaluations, training initiatives, and HR policy development.
Previously, Christine held HR leadership roles at Follett, Mazak Optonics Corporation, and Mercola.com, amassing more than six years of combined experience overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including benefits administration, compensation strategy, recruitment, FMLA management, and policy development. Her diverse background also includes operational roles at Service Corporation International and Comcast Cable, giving her a strong foundation in HR administration and employee relations across industries.
