Rachel DeVries Appointed as VP, Workforce Development Strategy at Acrisure

Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, February 2026 — Acrisure has announced that Rachel DeVries will continue her leadership journey with the organization as Vice President, Workforce Development Strategy. Rachel initially joined Acrisure as an Executive Consultant with the expectation that it would be a temporary assignment, but shared that the strength of the work, the people, and the impact inspired her to stay on in a long-term HR leadership role.

In her new position, Rachel will play a critical role in shaping enterprise-wide workforce development strategy—supporting Acrisure’s continued transformation as a global fintech leader by strengthening capability-building, future-ready talent systems, and HR modernization efforts.

In her current appointment at Acrisure, Rachel DeVries is responsible for driving strategic people and workforce initiatives focused on enterprise transformation. Her remit includes organizational design, workforce capacity planning, total rewards and retention strategies, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, training and workforce development frameworks, restructuring support, advanced HR analytics, and cultural evolution. She is also expected to help define and implement future-state organizational models and champion technology integration and data-driven decision-making across HR and business practices.

Before joining Acrisure, Rachel founded RDHR Consulting LLC, where she worked as an HR executive contractor, supporting Acrisure through consulting and advisory services—laying the foundation for her transition into a permanent executive HR role.

Prior to this, Rachel held senior HR leadership roles at Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) for nearly five years. She served as System Vice President overseeing HR Partners, recruitment, organizational development, colleague relations, and the HR Service Center—supporting multiple hospitals across Illinois and Wisconsin as well as system-wide corporate functions. Earlier, she was Vice President Human Resources – Illinois Division & System DEI, leading HR strategy for nine hospitals while guiding DEI efforts across the organization and serving as executive sponsor of key initiatives.

Earlier in her career, she spent close to nine years with Spectrum Health, serving in progressive HR business partner leadership roles, including Director, Sr. Human Resources Business Partner – Medical Group and Grand Rapids area Hospital Group, where she supported large-scale clinical and hospital groups and led HRBP teams across significant employee populations.

Alongside her corporate HR leadership, Rachel has also demonstrated strong community leadership through long-term involvement in education and coaching, serving as Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach / Program Director with Jenison Public Schools and Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy, managing coaching staff, program operations, communications, and budgets.
