Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands, April 2025 – Pierre Laubies has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of LIPTON Teas and Infusions, marking a new chapter for the world’s largest tea business. Laubies had been serving as Interim CEO for the past six months and has held the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2022. His appointment reflects the company’s confidence in his deep industry experience and leadership capabilities.
A seasoned executive, Laubies brings over three decades of leadership experience across global FMCG companies. Prior to this, he served as CEO at Coty, where he led significant transformation and brand repositioning. He also served as CEO of JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS (JDE Peet’s), one of the largest global coffee and tea companies, and held leadership roles at Mars Inc. and Campbell Soup Company, overseeing operations across Europe and Latin America.
As Managing Director at Elmfort Capital BV and Member of the Supervisory Board at Groupe Panzani, Laubies has continued to remain active in shaping high-growth consumer goods companies. His diverse leadership journey includes significant board-level experience and strategic advisory roles, including his time as Senior Adviser to CVC Capital Partners and Board Member at Ontex and Continental Foods.
Laubies’ appointment is expected to steer LIPTON Teas and Infusions through a dynamic growth phase, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and global expansion. His experience in transforming heritage brands into forward-thinking global enterprises aligns well with the company’s long-term goals.
