Baltimore, Maryland, United States, July 2024 – Cindy S. has joined St. John Properties, Inc. as the new Vice President of Human Resources. Cindy will lead the company’s HR efforts, focusing on employee relations, talent management, and operational efficiency, while collaborating with the leadership team to foster a dynamic and inclusive workplace.
Cindy brings extensive experience to her new role, having served as a Strategic Partner at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory for over two years. In this role, she partnered with executive and senior leaders to implement strategic HR objectives, managed data-driven HR solutions, and supported various HR functions, including performance management, leadership development, and employee relations.
Prior to that, Cindy was the Director of Human Resources at Visionist, Inc., where she designed and implemented employee engagement initiatives, developed a comprehensive onboarding program, and fostered a career progression framework. Her tenure at Visionist was marked by significant improvements in employee satisfaction and retention.
Cindy also held the role of Director at Johns Hopkins Medicine for over 14 years, where she led HR functions, managed a substantial budget, and championed workforce development initiatives. Her leadership was instrumental in transitioning the department to a fully remote workforce during a critical period.
Earlier in her career, Cindy held HR and office management roles at Bill Me Later, Inc., The ACI Group, Inc., and National Federation of the Blind, where she honed her skills in HR management, office administration, and team leadership.
