Rochester, New York, United States, September 2024 – Colleen McCormick has been appointed as the Vice President, Global Human Resources at CooperVision, a leading global manufacturer of soft contact lenses. In this role, Colleen will oversee global HR strategies, talent management, and organizational development to support CooperVision’s continued growth and innovation.
Before joining CooperVision, Colleen served as the Head of Talent & Global HR Business Partner at PerkinElmer for over a year, where she led global HR initiatives, including succession planning, organizational development, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Prior to her time at PerkinElmer, Colleen held various leadership roles at L3Harris Technologies, including Director of Human Resources Strategic Initiatives, where she led key enterprise-wide HR strategies such as COVID crisis management and change management for Oracle HCM. She also played a critical role in the HR integration following the merger of L3 Technologies and Harris Corporation.
Colleen’s experience also includes her role as Global Simplification Leader at GE, where she streamlined global recruiting processes and led diversity initiatives, including the “Balance The Equation” tour to promote women in STEM. Earlier in her career, Colleen worked at Rochester Regional Health as Senior Director of Learning and Development, where she led employee training and leadership development for a large healthcare system.
