Corbion, a leader in lactic acid solutions and sustainable ingredients, has announced the appointment of Masha Vis-Mertens as Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the Executive Committee, effective May 1, 2024.
Vis-Mertens, a Dutch national, transitions to Corbion from her previous role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Barry Callebaut in Switzerland, a major player in the global cocoa and chocolate industry.
Throughout her career, Vis-Mertens has excelled in various capacities including HR, commercial, and supply chain management across different regions and countries. Her extensive background in talent development, diversity and inclusion, and organizational transformation is set to enhance Corbion’s strategic initiatives. Fluent in Dutch, German, French, and English, her diverse skill set and international experience will bring a fresh perspective to Corbion’s operations.
