Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, September 2025 – SUBCO, a leading developer and operator of next-generation submarine cable infrastructure, has appointed Courtney C. as its new Head of People & Culture. In her new role, Courtney will be responsible for shaping people strategies, driving organizational culture, and supporting the company’s continued growth as it expands its global footprint in digital infrastructure.
Courtney joins SUBCO after nearly six years at Colliers, where she served as Head of People & Performance, Australia. There, she successfully developed and executed the national people strategy, led HR teams through multiple merger and acquisition transitions, and implemented succession planning and leadership development programs across the business.
Before Colliers, she spent over three years at Macquarie Group as Human Resources Director for the Corporate & Asset Finance Group, leading HR for more than 1,000 employees across Australia and Asia. In this role, she drove key people initiatives, including leadership development, diversity and inclusion programs, and succession planning.
Earlier in her career, Courtney built a strong foundation at PwC, where she spent over a decade in multiple HR leadership roles. As HR Lead for the Tax & Legal division, she supported more than 800 staff and 150 partners, while also leading national HR strategies and embedding people analytics into workforce planning. She previously held roles as an HR Business Partner and Campus Recruiter, helping strengthen PwC’s talent pipeline.
Courtney began her career in organizational development with Accenture as an instructional designer, where she supported learning and development initiatives that laid the foundation for her future HR leadership journey.
