Nashville, Tennessee, United States, November 2025 – In a landmark development within the Warner Records Group, Cris Lacy has been appointed Chair & President of the newly rebranded Warner Records Nashville, formerly known as Warner Music Nashville. In her new role, Lacy will report to Aaron Bay-Schuck, CEO & Co-Chairman, and Tom Corson, COO & Co-Chairman of Warner Records Group.
This appointment marks a significant step in Warner Records Group’s strategy to build a unified global structure that bridges genres and geographies, positioning Nashville as a powerhouse within its global ecosystem. The rebranding of Warner Music Nashville to Warner Records Nashville reflects the company’s vision to deepen its collaboration across markets and amplify the global resonance of country music.
A 20-year veteran of Warner Music Nashville, Cris Lacy has been a driving force behind the label’s creative evolution. Rising through the A&R ranks before becoming Co-President three years ago, she is widely admired for her strategic leadership, artist-first approach, and deep understanding of Nashville’s musical heritage. Her new role positions her at the forefront of shaping Warner’s Nashville division into a more globally integrated and forward-looking label.
“Nashville has always been synonymous with exceptional storytelling, expertly crafted lyrics, and incomparable musicianship. Its growing influence is permeating other genres and is increasingly found front and center on the world’s stage,” said Cris Lacy, Chair & President, Warner Records Nashville.
“This move formalizes the cross-pollination that we’ve been developing over the years with our Los Angeles colleagues across areas such as A&R, marketing, strategy, data/research, business affairs, and radio promotion. Warner Records is a powerful brand, and we know that we’re stronger when we work together to propel our artists and their life’s work to new heights.”
Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson shared their excitement about the transition, stating: “This rebrand marks an exciting new era for our flagship Nashville label — one that builds on everything that already makes it so special, guided by Cris’ extraordinary leadership. Her passion, vision, and unwavering respect for artistry define the label’s spirit and have earned the trust of the Nashville community. Together, we’re expanding the reach and opportunities for artists in a genre where the future feels limitless.”
As part of the transition, Gregg Nadel, former Co-Chair & Co-President of Warner Music Nashville, will take on a new leadership role within Warner Music Group, with further details to be announced soon. The move comes as Warner Records Nashville reveals a new logo, aligned with the design language of the Warner Records rebrand introduced in 2019.
The Warner Records Group now comprises Warner Records US, Warner Records UK, and Warner Records Nashville, reflecting the company’s expanding global presence. The Nashville roster features artists jointly signed by Warner Records and Warner Nashville, including Gavin Adcock, Adrien Nunez, Slater Nalley, The Bends, The Castellows, and The Creekers, alongside major names such as Zach Bryan, Cody Johnson, Ashley McBryde, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Bailey Zimmerman, Dasha, Cole Swindell, Gabby Barrett, Hudson Westbrook, Ingrid Andress, Randy Travis, and Warren Zeiders.
