Winfield, Kansas, October 2024 – Crystal Martin has been named Head of Talent Acquisition and Engagement at Western Industries Plastic Products LLC. In this role, Crystal will lead the company’s talent acquisition efforts, driving employee engagement initiatives to foster a strong organizational culture and attract top talent for its growing manufacturing operations.
Prior to joining Western Industries, Crystal served as a Human Resources Consultant / Broker at FrankCrum, where she provided comprehensive HR consulting services to businesses. Her expertise included payroll processing, employee benefits, and HR compliance, helping organizations streamline their HR operations.
Before her tenure at FrankCrum, Crystal founded and operated Competitive Employer Consulting (CEC), where she led HR consulting projects, customer service training, and operational process improvements for small to mid-sized businesses. Her focus on utilizing data analytics to inform business decisions helped her clients optimize their workforce strategies.
Crystal also served as Area Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, where she oversaw program operations and community engagement initiatives. During her time there, she strengthened relationships with stakeholders and expanded the organization’s reach in supporting youth development.
In earlier roles, Crystal worked with Mid Kansas Community Action as a Case Manager / Community Support Coordinator and with The Salvation Army as a Cowley County Coordinator, where she managed community outreach and support services. She gained extensive experience in managing non-profit programs and addressing critical social service needs in local communities.
