London, UK, July 2024 – Dan McDonagh has joined CapitaLand as the new Head of Human Resources, Europe. With a wealth of experience in HR management and strategic leadership, Dan will be instrumental in driving HR operations and supporting the company’s growth across Europe.
Dan McDonagh has started his role as the Head of Human Resources, Europe at CapitaLand. Based in London, UK, he will oversee HR strategies and operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and fostering a productive work environment.
Previously, Dan was with Mapletree for nearly seven years. He served as the Senior Human Resources Manager, UK & Ireland, where he led HR initiatives and managed employee benefits, stakeholder relationships, and strategic HR planning. Before this role, he was the Human Resources Manager, UK & Ireland, managing HR functions across multiple regions and supporting the company’s growth.
Dan also served as the Human Resources Manager at HML Group, managing HR operations for Faraday Property Management Ltd, which was later acquired by the HML Group.
His earlier experience includes roles such as Human Resources Manager at Radisson Blu Edwardian, London, where he oversaw HR functions for two hotel properties, and Human Resources Officer at Sarova Hotels Ltd, based at Rembrandt Hotel in South Kensington.
Dan’s career began at Swissotel London The Howard as a Human Resources Coordinator, managing recruitment, learning and development, and employee relations issues.
