Melbourne, Australia, March 2026 – Daniel McLean has been elevated to the role of Vice President Human Resources at Leidos Australia, marking a significant milestone in his nearly decade-long journey with the organization.
Daniel has been with Leidos Australia for over eight years, during which he has taken on a range of leadership roles across HR, program management, and business strategy. Most recently, he served as Program Director, where he led critical programs supporting the organization’s growth and operational excellence. Prior to that, he held roles including Program Manager – Airborne Solutions M&A, Director Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning, Capture Manager, and Senior HR Business Partner, demonstrating a unique blend of HR expertise and business leadership.
Before joining Leidos, Daniel held senior leadership roles at Ironside Resources, where he served as General Manager – Recruitment & Resourcing and later as Manager – Projects & Programs, leading large-scale workforce and project initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Daniel also served in the Australian Army, where he trained at the Royal Military College – Duntroon, building a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and operational excellence that has shaped his professional journey.
