New York City Metropolitan Area, September 2025 – Johnson Law Group has announced the appointment of David L. as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this strategic leadership role, David will spearhead the firm’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, and digital transformation efforts, building on his extensive experience driving growth for leading law firms and global marketing agencies.
David joins Johnson Law Group after more than five years with Morgan & Morgan, P.A., one of the United States’ largest law firms. As Vice President of Marketing, he oversaw acquisition strategy, digital marketing, and analytics, ensuring consistent top-line growth and brand expansion across national and local markets. Earlier, as Senior Director of Marketing Strategy, David was responsible for holistic planning and alignment across product, operations, and finance, positioning the firm for sustained expansion.
Before his tenure in legal marketing, David built a strong track record in digital media leadership. He served as Head of NY at New Engen, Inc., where he supported disruptive brands in achieving performance goals through advanced digital planning and paid media strategies. Prior to that, he was Head of Digital Performance for Ogilvy Hong Kong, leading digital buying and planning across SEM, SEO, paid social, and programmatic channels for the region.
David also held leadership roles at iCrossing as Vice President, Media, and at Mindshare as Partner and Group Director, Search and Social, where he drove client growth, employee development, and business strategy. Earlier roles included Group Director at Resolution Media (PHD), and positions at iMarketing LTD, Neo@Ogilvy, and Didit.com, where he honed his skills in search marketing, media analytics, and performance optimization.
