Detroit, Michigan, United States, September 2025 — Amsted Automotive has announced the appointment of DeAnna England as its new Director of People Development. With more than two decades of expertise in talent management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development, DeAnna brings a wealth of experience in shaping high-performing teams and driving workforce transformation across global industries.
DeAnna joins Amsted Automotive following her role as a Consultant and Trainer with CTA of Michigan, where she focused on building skills for behavior change, effective communication, and organizational development. In this capacity, she supported culture change and workforce effectiveness through behavioral interventions and deliberate practice programs.
Before that, she spent over 12 years at Continental, most recently serving as Senior Manager, Talent Management and Organizational Development. She was responsible for talent strategy for 15,000+ employees, leading initiatives in leadership development, workforce planning, and succession management. Among her notable achievements was the launch of high-potential development programs that enhanced leadership readiness, as well as co-founding a Diversity Council that significantly boosted engagement in employee resource groups.
Earlier, DeAnna worked at Meritor as Organizational Development Manager, where she streamlined HR processes by implementing PeopleSoft HRIS for 2,000 employees and deploying a global change management methodology. Prior to that, she held HR and consulting roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, T-Systems International, and gedas USA, where she led large-scale organizational change, leadership development, and integration programs. She began her career at GP Strategies Corporation as a Product Manager, managing training programs and driving efficiency improvements in content development.
