United States, November 2025 — Deb Rasmussen has been appointed as Director HR Operations & Talent Strategy Execution at MTI America, marking a significant milestone in her multi-decade HR leadership journey. In this newly assumed position, she will oversee HR operations excellence and guide the execution of enterprise-wide talent strategy initiatives to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
Before joining MTI America, Deb Rasmussen served at Southern New Hampshire University for over six years, most recently as Talent Attraction Candidate Experience Program Manager. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in elevating candidate experience, strengthening HR operations, and driving talent attraction strategies through data insights, organizational development practices, and cross-functional collaboration. Her earlier responsibilities at the university included leading HR Shared Services as Senior Director People Support and Operations, as well as contributing to people processes as Director People Support and Operations and Assistant Director People Support and Operations, collectively strengthening her expertise across employee services, HR operations, culture change, recognition programs, and workforce support systems.
Prior to her tenure in higher education, Deb contributed significantly to Concord Hospital for nearly four years, where she worked as Talent Manager, Lead Talent Advisor, and Talent Advisor. During this period, she deepened her capabilities in HR policies, business continuity, staff retention, high-potential development, and organizational development, while supporting key HR operations initiatives across hospital functions.
Earlier in her career, Deb spent close to two years at Company C as Human Resources Manager, where she led employee relations, retention initiatives, survey programs, and organizational development efforts. Her role required active partnership with leadership teams, strong communication skills, and a focus on ensuring HR compliance and employee experience.
The foundational years of Deb’s career include eight years with LifePlans, Inc. as Director of Recruiting, QA and Training, where she gained extensive experience in recruitment operations, training frameworks, HR policies, and business continuity strategy. Before that, she spent over five years at Fidelity Investments as Sr. Human Resources Manager – Call Center Services, where she supported high-volume HR operations and performance-focused people strategies. Collectively, these experiences provided Deb with a strong grounding in HR operations, organizational development, and talent strategy leadership.
