Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2024 – Deepa Chadha has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata 1mg, India’s leading healthcare platform. Bringing over two decades of rich experience in human resources strategy, operations, and leadership, Deepa is set to lead Tata 1mg’s people strategy, drive organizational growth, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Deepa joins Tata 1mg from Vistara – TATA SIA Airlines Ltd., where she served as Senior Vice President, HR & Corporate Affairs for eight years. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in shaping the airline’s HR strategies and driving its cultural transformation.
Before Vistara, Deepa held the position of SVP HR (CHRO) at Jabong, where she successfully led HR operations and employee engagement initiatives. Her prior association with Bharti Airtel saw her hold several critical roles, including VP – Head HR Global COE and Head HR Airtel Business, where she was instrumental in driving HR innovation across global and B2B operations.
Deepa’s professional journey also includes leadership stints at Genpact as VP Global HR Shared Services, Oracle India as Principal Consultant – eBusiness, and Ranbaxy, where she began her career. Her diverse experience spans HR operations, shared services, leadership development, and strategic planning across sectors like healthcare, technology, and aviation.
Deepa holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, which she earned in 1995.
