Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2025 – Avinesh Vinod has taken on a new role as Head of Culture & Talent and HR Business Partnering at Gulf Coca-Cola Beverages (GCCB). In this expanded role, Avinesh will lead the Talent & Development Center of Excellence, which encompasses Talent & Performance Management, Learning & Leadership Development, Executive Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Early Careers, and Emiratization. He will also serve as the Strategic HR Business Partner for the corporate functions including Finance, HR, IT, and Legal.
Avinesh’s new responsibilities represent a significant step forward in aligning talent and culture initiatives with the company’s strategic business objectives across the region.
Over the past year, Avinesh served as Head of Culture & People Services at GCCB, where he led critical people operations, including payroll, visa management, and digital transformation initiatives. His leadership in enhancing service delivery and employee experience was pivotal in supporting organizational growth.
Prior to that, he spent nearly two years as Head of Culture, driving employee relations, internal communications, diversity & inclusion, and future of work initiatives across UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain.
Earlier in his career, Avinesh held multiple HR leadership roles at Coca-Cola Beverages Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei, including People Director for Supply Chain. He also served as Employee Engagement Specialist at Maxis, and spent six years at Heineken Malaysia Berhad where he developed and executed industrial relations and employee engagement strategies.
