Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden, July 2026 — Linde has appointed Ali Faizan Khan as Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Region Europe East, Middle East and Central Asia, expanding his leadership responsibilities to one of the company’s most diverse and strategically significant regions spanning 20 countries.
In his new role, Khan will oversee the finance function across the region, providing strategic financial leadership to support business growth, capital allocation, operational excellence, governance, and long-term value creation. He will work closely with regional leadership to strengthen financial performance, investment planning, business transformation, and sustainable growth across multiple international markets.
Khan takes on this expanded responsibility after serving as Regional CFO for Linde’s Europe North Region, where he led the finance organization across the Nordic markets and partnered with business leaders to drive financial performance, business planning, strategic investments, and operational efficiency.
Prior to becoming Regional CFO, he served as Head of Business Controlling for Europe North, where he led regional business planning, financial analytics, performance management, and commercial decision support. Earlier, during his extensive leadership journey in Singapore, Khan served as Country CFO of Linde Gas Singapore, Finance Director for Singapore & Vietnam, Finance Director – Singapore, Finance Manager, Manager – Business Finance & Planning, and Manager – Accounting & Reporting. Across these roles, he successfully led statutory reporting, treasury, taxation, investment evaluation, budgeting, capital planning, business finance, and corporate governance while serving as a key member of the country leadership team.
Before joining Linde, Khan held senior assurance and advisory roles with Helmi Talib & Co. Certified Public Accountants in Singapore, managing audit, business advisory, due diligence, restructuring, and corporate finance engagements across a diverse client portfolio. He began his professional career with PwC, where he spent over five years leading assurance, financial due diligence, internal audit, forensic audit, business process transformation, and advisory assignments across multiple industries.
Over more than two decades, Khan has built extensive expertise in Corporate Finance, Financial Strategy, Business Controlling, Treasury Management, Capital Allocation, Investment Planning, Business Performance Management, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Mergers & Acquisitions Support, Governance, Taxation, Business Transformation, Risk Management, Corporate Reporting, and Strategic Finance Leadership.
His appointment reflects Linde’s continued investment in experienced finance leaders capable of driving strategic growth, financial discipline, and operational excellence across complex international markets.
