Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — Locus has appointed Deepa Subbaiah B as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), entrusting her with leading the company’s global people strategy during a period of rapid growth and AI-driven transformation. In her new role, she will focus on strengthening organizational design, clarifying ownership, evolving workforce capabilities, and enabling teams to thrive as artificial intelligence reshapes the future of work.
With more than 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, Deepa has built an accomplished career across global technology, software, engineering, and digital organizations. She has successfully led large-scale HR transformation initiatives, workforce planning, organizational redesign, talent management, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and people operations across multinational enterprises.
Prior to joining Locus, Deepa served as AVP & Head HR – APAC & India at Amadeus, where she provided strategic HR leadership for more than 7,000 employees across the Asia-Pacific region. As a permanent member of the CHRO Senior Leadership Team, she led workforce strategy, transformed the regional HR operating model, established Centers of Excellence across Talent, Rewards, HR Operations, Analytics, DEI, and Employer Branding, and strengthened governance and compliance across multiple Asian markets.
Earlier, she was Senior Director – HR (Product & Engineering) at Freshworks, partnering with the Chief Product Officer to lead people strategy for nearly 1,900 global Product and Engineering professionals during a critical phase of AI-led transformation. Her work included workforce planning, succession management, organizational restructuring, leadership pipeline development, internal mobility, technical upskilling, and employee engagement initiatives.
Deepa also held significant HR leadership roles at Cisco, 3M, Wipro, GE Healthcare, and Honeywell Technology Solutions, where she drove enterprise-wide people strategies, organizational transformation, leadership development, talent engagement, HR analytics, diversity initiatives, and large-scale change management programs across India, the Middle East, and global markets.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Deepa will lead Locus’ global people agenda, helping the company build an agile, AI-ready organization while strengthening leadership capability, enhancing employee experience, and enabling sustainable growth as the business continues to scale globally.
