New York City Metropolitan Area, July 2026 — Wipro has announced that Priya Jha Choudhary has stepped into a new role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its AI Native Business and Platforms Unit. In her new position, she will lead the people strategy for one of Wipro’s most strategic growth businesses, focusing on building future-ready talent capabilities, fostering innovation, and supporting the company’s AI-driven transformation agenda.
A seasoned HR leader with more than two decades of experience, Priya brings extensive expertise across talent management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, HR business partnering, organizational transformation, and global people strategy. Throughout her career, she has successfully partnered with business leaders to build high-performing teams, drive large-scale transformations, and create people practices that enable business growth and innovation.
Prior to this appointment, Priya served as Head of HR – Enterprise Applications Global Service Line at Wipro, where she held end-to-end global HR accountability for one of the company’s largest service lines comprising more than 35,000 professionals across offshore and onsite markets. In this role, she led people strategy initiatives spanning sales, delivery, capabilities, and partnerships while driving integration and synergy goals across acquired entities in geographically dispersed markets.
Before joining Wipro, Priya spent more than nine years with Capgemini, where she held several senior leadership positions, including Global Head, Talent & Learning – Cloud Global Business Line, HR Head – Banking & Capital Markets Business Unit, and Global Lead, Talent and Diversity – Financial Services Strategic Business Unit. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in strengthening talent strategies, enhancing leadership capabilities, and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives across global teams.
Earlier in her career, Priya founded EQubes Consulting, an HR-focused consulting venture, and also gained valuable experience with KANBAY, later acquired by Capgemini, where she built a strong foundation in HR business partnering and organizational effectiveness.
Her appointment reflects Wipro’s continued commitment to building future-focused leadership and strengthening its people capabilities as it accelerates innovation and growth in AI-powered technologies and platforms.
