Singapore – October 2024 – Deepthi Susarla has been appointed as Chief People Officer, Cluster Mekong at DB Schenker, while continuing her role as People & Organization Director at the APAC Regional Head Office. In her new position, Deepthi will lead strategic HR initiatives, focusing on talent development, employee engagement, and organizational growth across the Mekong cluster, which covers several Southeast Asian markets.
Deepthi joined DB Schenker as People & Organization Director for the APAC region, where she has been instrumental in driving talent management strategies and enhancing employee development across the region for over 2 years. Her expanded role as Chief People Officer, Cluster Mekong reflects her significant contributions to the HR function at DB Schenker.
Prior to DB Schenker, Deepthi served as Human Resources Business Partner, Greater Asia at BD for approximately 7 months, where she focused on strategic HR initiatives. Before that, she held the position of Talent Management & Development Manager, Greater Asia, also at BD, where she worked for over 2 years, developing leadership programs and driving talent growth across the region.
Deepthi’s earlier roles include Human Resources Manager at Keppel Corporation Limited for almost 4 years, where she managed HR operations and strategic workforce planning. She also worked as Senior Manager, Executive Development at Human Capital Leadership Institute for nearly 3 years, leading executive learning programs. Deepthi’s career journey further includes roles as Managing Consultant – Harvard Business School Publishing at John Clements Consultants Pte. Ltd., as well as entrepreneurial experience as Co-founder and Partner at Viands and Foodzone.
