Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, June 2024 – Delma Guevara has joined Abound Health as Chief Human Resources Officer. Delma is honored to bring her extensive experience in human resources leadership to Abound Health, where she will support the company’s mission of providing high-quality services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Delma most recently served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at LPL Financial, where she was a senior advisor on people strategies and organizational design for three years. Her role involved talent acquisition, employee value proposition, and supporting corporate sites across North America.
Before LPL Financial, Delma was the Senior Human Resources Site Lead at Amazon, where she led HR operations for a customer fulfillment center supporting 3,000 employees. She directed a team of 18 HR professionals in various initiatives, including succession planning and diversity equity & inclusion.
At Humboldt Park Health, Delma served as Vice President, Human Resources, overseeing HR operations for a 200-bed acute care hospital. Her focus was on compliance, operations, quality, patient safety, and community relations.
Delma’s career also includes significant roles at Hawaii Pacific Health as Director of Operations, and various leadership positions in the United States Air Force where she managed HR, compliance, and operational support functions. She has also held HR leadership roles at Hyatt Regency, Chamberlain Group, Communication Services for the Deaf, and Canyon Ranch.
