With over 25 years of experience in strategic HR leadership, Deon will help shape the future of Pax8’s people strategy, building a diverse and inclusive workforce that fuels growth and innovation.
Before joining Pax8, Deon was Principal at MacMillan Consulting, offering strategic HR consultancy to global organizations. Prior to this, she served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and Chief People Officer at Summit Materials, leading key HR initiatives and corporate communications. At Ardent Mills, she played a pivotal role in creating the joint venture between Cargill, ConAgra, and CHS as Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer.
Deon’s earlier career includes a successful tenure as Vice President of Human Resources at Thomson Reuters and several global HR leadership roles at Cargill. She also worked as a Human Capital Partner at UnitedHealth Group and held key HR leadership positions at Koch Industries.
