Over the past several years at Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd., Desh Deepak served as President – Carbon Black Business and earlier as Chief Operating Officer, driving growth, operational efficiency, and business transformation across multiple verticals. His leadership helped scale operations, strengthen capabilities, and build a unified global supply chain structure supporting long-term sustainability and business resilience.
Prior to this, he played a pivotal role as Chief Technology Officer at Shalina Healthcare, where he led India and China operations, oversaw global supply chain strategies, and held full P&L responsibility for the India business. His contributions significantly enhanced operational integration, manufacturing agility, and organizational performance in highly regulated and competitive markets.
In earlier leadership roles, he served as Chief Manufacturing Officer at Phillips Carbon Black Limited, Operations Director at Raymond Limited, and Manufacturing Operations Head at AkzoNobel India, where he led multi-plant operations, optimized supply chains, and championed technology-led transformation. His career also includes impactful stints at Hindustan Unilever Limited, where he managed chemicals manufacturing across multiple units, and Reliance Industries Limited, where he worked extensively on the Jamnagar Refinery Project.
With a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Desh Deepak brings decades of domain expertise, people-focused leadership, and an unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainability. His appointment underscores UFlex Chemicals’ vision of advancing material science excellence and delivering high-performance solutions for global packaging ecosystems.
