Nahkeeta Tansell Appointed as Head of Learning and Development at Coco Republic

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, September 2024 – Nahkeeta Tansell has joined Coco Republic as the new Head of Learning and Development. In this role, Nahkeeta will lead initiatives to enhance the learning and development framework at Coco Republic, focusing on empowering employees through innovative training programs and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Before joining Coco Republic, Nahkeeta Tansell served as Learning and Development Manager at CSR Limited for nearly 3 years. She managed a team that developed and implemented strategic learning programs in line with the company’s transformation agenda. Her team won the 2023 BEST Team Award for HR, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the business.

Prior to her time at CSR Limited, Nahkeeta spent more than 3 years at Pacific National in roles such as Training Design and Development Manager and Digital Learning Principal. She played a pivotal role in the development of digital learning platforms and improving organizational capabilities through innovative training approaches.

Earlier in her career, Nahkeeta was the Head of Learning and Development for JD Sports Fashion and colette by colette hayman, where she contributed to the expansion of both brands into the Australian and UK markets. She established learning frameworks and development programs that fostered a strong people-centric culture within these organizations.

Nahkeeta’s earlier experiences include leadership roles at Brightstar Corp. as Program Lead & Training Manager, where she oversaw HTC’s national product launches and developed sales and training strategies, and Vodafone Australia as a Device Launch Specialist, where she managed training and event programs for new product releases. She also held various retail management roles at 3 Mobile, enhancing her experience in people development and operational management.
