New Delhi, India, November 2025 — HCLSoftware, a division of HCLTech, has announced the appointment of Dhruv Kohli as Vice President & Country Head – India. In this strategic leadership role, Dhruv will oversee India’s growth roadmap, drive ecosystem expansion, and enhance customer engagement across public sector, enterprise technology, and digital innovation verticals.
A seasoned professional with nearly two decades of experience in GovTech, cloud strategy, partner ecosystems, and technology modernization, Dhruv has been instrumental in shaping HCLSoftware’s GovTech and public sector transformation initiatives. Since joining the company, he has led key programs in government-to-citizen (G2C) transformation, digital governance, and national-scale cloud adoption, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating India’s digital future.
Before stepping into his new role, Dhruv served as Vice President – Public Sector Business (GovTech) at HCLSoftware, where he built strategic partnerships and spearheaded technology-driven programs for public policy implementation and defense tech initiatives. Prior to that, he spent over 14 years at HCLTech in various leadership capacities, including Head – Ecosystem Strategy & GovTech, Director – Ecosystems Strategy and FinOps, and General Manager – Cloud Business Management & Alliances, driving large-scale cloud adoption, partner enablement, and digital transformation across sectors.
Earlier in his career, Dhruv gained valuable experience at Apara Enterprise Solutions, Ace Data Devices, and Core India, where he specialized in IT business development, data center architecture, and alliance management. This diverse experience across enterprise IT and government technology programs has equipped him with a deep understanding of India’s evolving digital ecosystem.
Dhruv holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Network Technology from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, reflecting his strong technical foundation and business leadership acumen.
In his new role, Dhruv will continue to strengthen HCLSoftware’s presence in India, driving initiatives that empower government and enterprise clients through innovation, secure cloud platforms, and next-generation technology solutions.
