Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Diana Monteiro has been appointed as Vice President – Branding & Communications at Hinduja Group Limited, marking a strategic move by the Group to further strengthen its brand and communication leadership. Based in Mumbai, Diana will lead corporate brand strategy, internal and external communications, and thought leadership efforts for the conglomerate across its diverse sectors.
Before this appointment, Diana Monteiro served as Vice President – Corporate Communications & Branding at Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. for nearly two years, where she was instrumental in designing communication strategies that reinforced the organization’s leadership in the health insurance sector.
Prior to this, she was the Chief Brand Storyteller at Shriram Finance Limited & Shriram Housing Finance, where she drove narrative development and digital communication strategies for over two and a half years. Her storytelling leadership played a key role in amplifying the brand’s visibility in the NBFC space.
Earlier, Diana held the position of Head of Public Relations & GM IR & CSR at Magma Fincorp Ltd. (now Poonawalla Fincorp) for close to three years, where she led the external engagement and investor communications during a pivotal phase of transformation. She also made a notable impact during her tenure at Fitch Ratings as Associate Director – Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, where she managed communication strategies and stakeholder engagement for nearly three and a half years.
Her earlier roles included strategic communication leadership at HDFC Bank, Bloomberg TV India, Economic Times TV (Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd.), and CRISIL, building a robust foundation in media, finance, and corporate communications. Diana holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Mumbai, reflecting her strong academic and analytical grounding in business and financial storytelling.
