Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2024 – Pocket FM has announced the appointment of Dipa Chakraborty as Head of People Operations. In her new role, Dipa will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s people strategy, with a focus on talent management, culture development, and operational excellence. With her vast experience in leadership roles at global organizations, Dipa is set to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with Pocket FM’s mission of growth and innovation.
Prior to joining Pocket FM, Dipa served as Group Manager, Trust & Safety (Product Compliance) at Prime Video & Amazon Studios for nearly a year. Based in Bengaluru, India, she led content compliance initiatives across regions such as India, MENA, and South East Asia, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and driving collaborations across teams.
Dipa has also had an extensive tenure at Amazon, where she worked for approximately five years in various leadership roles, including Service Delivery Manager (Manager II) for Exits in Europe and North America. During this time, she demonstrated her expertise in HR operations and compliance management, leading a global team to success through process optimization and stakeholder collaboration.
Earlier in her career, Dipa held the role of Team Lead for Customer Success & Retention at Scripbox, where she played a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and retention initiatives, contributing to the company’s growth in the financial services space.
Her earlier experience at Tesco for seven years further solidified her expertise in payroll operations and project management, where she led successful initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders in the UK.
