Phoenix, Arizona, United States, April 2026 — Honeywell Aerospace Technologies has appointed Kim Prefontaine as Vice President Human Resources, Electronic Solutions, strengthening its leadership team as the business continues to expand in a dynamic and technology-driven environment.
In her new role, Kim joins the HR Leadership Team (HRLT) and will lead the people strategy for the Electronic Solutions business, focusing on talent development, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce transformation to support innovation and growth in advanced aerospace technologies.
Kim brings over two decades of global HR leadership experience across complex industrial, manufacturing, and technology environments. Prior to this appointment, she served as Vice President Human Resources & Integration at Honeywell UOP, where she led HR for a $3.2 billion division at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting 3,800 employees globally and driving enterprise talent strategies, M&A integration, and leadership development initiatives.
Before joining Honeywell, Kim spent nearly six years at Johnson Controls as Executive Director, Global Human Resources, where she supported large-scale global operations with a workforce of over 28,000 employees, partnering closely with senior leadership on business strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and global diversity initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she held senior HR leadership roles at Rockwell Automation, leading HR strategy across multiple global manufacturing locations, and at DRS Power & Control Technologies, where she progressed through multiple leadership roles spanning HR, program management, and business operations. These experiences helped her build a strong foundation in industrial relations, large-scale transformation, and cross-functional leadership.
Across her career, Kim has consistently demonstrated the ability to align people strategy with business transformation, drive cultural change, and build high-performing organizations in complex, global environments.
Kim holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, further strengthening her strategic and leadership capabilities.
