Copenhagen, Denmark, October 2024 – Divy Anand has been appointed as the Vice President, Group Enterprise Architect at Carlsberg Group. In this global role, Divy will shape the enterprise architecture strategy for Carlsberg, focusing on SAP S/4HANA, M&A integration, data strategy, and digital transformation to drive innovation and growth across the organization. With over 20 years of experience in technology-led business transformations, Divy is poised to make a significant impact in his new position.
Before joining Carlsberg Group, Divy served as the Chief Digital & Technology Architect at Haleon, where he built the enterprise architecture function from the ground up, leading a team of 60+ architects. During his tenure, he successfully led a multi-million-dollar initiative to enhance operational resilience across 21 critical infrastructure components and oversaw the architectural leadership for SAP S/4HANA deployment. His strategic guidance on emerging technologies like APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, and Generative AI significantly influenced Haleon’s technology roadmap.
Prior to Haleon, Divy played a key role at GSK as the Head of Enterprise Architecture for the Tech Transformation Office, leading the demerger of Haleon from GSK—a £10 billion project impacting over 34,000 employees, 1,200 applications, and 140 countries. Divy’s expertise ensured the seamless separation of systems and established Haleon as a cloud-first company by migrating over 1,000 workloads to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. He also led the development of a contingency plan to safeguard business-critical ERP systems during the separation.
Earlier in his career, Divy worked as an Enterprise SAP Architect at GSK, where he led several global SAP ERP projects, including the integration of Novartis and Pfizer consumer businesses. His leadership in ERP transformations spanned multiple commercial and manufacturing entities worldwide, contributing to significant operational efficiencies. He also provided thought leadership for technology solutions during Brexit, mitigating potential risks to GSK’s business worth £1.1 billion annually.
Divy’s journey began with Infosys and Syngenta, where he worked on SAP transformations across multiple industries, including automotive, life sciences, and oil & gas. His experience in managing large-scale SAP implementations and building robust technology frameworks positioned him as a leader in enterprise architecture.
