Washington, District of Columbia, United States, July 2024 – Dr. Angelia J. Deloach has started a new position as Director, Human Capital Information Systems at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Deloach brings a wealth of experience in human resources and information systems to her new role.
Dr. Angelia J. Deloach was previously an Academic Coach at Instructional Connections, LLC for over four years, where she served as a liaison between university faculty and students, providing support and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA).
Before that, she worked as a Program Analyst at the Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service for over five years, where she was involved in defining requirements and enhancing organizational performance within the federal government.
Dr. Deloach also held the position of Training Specialist at CACI International Inc, where she developed and instructed HRIS training for the U.S. Army’s Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A). Her role involved extensive travel and the application of the ADDIE process concepts.
Her career also includes three and a half years at the United States Department of Defense, where she served as a Signature Reduction Training Manager and a Project Officer, Inventory Management/Data Reconciliation, focusing on personnel management and organizational performance.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Deloach worked at the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a Senior Human Resources Manager and Assistant Executive Administrative Manager, where she provided direct support to senior leadership and managed administrative and HR operations.
