Istanbul, Türkiye, December 2024 – Dr. Hasan Ali Kendir has been named Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) for BAYEGAN and BGN, leading the digital transformation and IT strategies for these globally recognized organizations. Dr. Kendir will oversee information systems, digital infrastructure, and innovation efforts to drive growth and operational excellence in the petrochemicals and energy sectors.
Dr. Kendir brings extensive expertise in IT strategy, project management, and leadership across multiple industries. Most recently, he served as Director of Project Management Office at Eksim Holding, where he led diverse technological and energy projects, emphasizing sustainability and digital transformation. His role encompassed managing a wide array of renewable energy, distribution, and technology-driven initiatives.
Before Eksim Holding, Dr. Kendir held a similar role at Turcas Petrol A.Ş. and Aksoy Holding, where he directed major IT and infrastructure projects, including cloud migration, cybersecurity measures, and ERP implementations. His focus on innovation and strategic planning established him as a forward-thinking leader in the energy and IT domains.
Dr. Kendir’s earlier career includes roles as Technology, IT, and Automation Sales Director at Kadoil, where he managed IT portfolios and launched significant digital initiatives, and IT Manager at Knorr-Bremse AG, where he oversaw critical software development and ERP integration projects.
