Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Lockton India has promoted Dr. Manvita Mehta to Deputy Vice President – People Solutions. In her expanded leadership role, she will continue to strengthen Lockton’s People Solutions practice by partnering with organizations on employee benefits, health and wellness strategies, people risk management, and innovative workforce solutions that enhance employee experience and organizational performance.
Dr. Mehta brings over 14 years of experience across insurance broking, employee benefits, healthcare claims management, and people solutions. She has developed deep expertise in employee benefits consulting, health insurance, claims management, client advisory, risk management, and strategic people solutions.
Prior to her promotion, Dr. Mehta served as Assistant Vice President at Lockton India, where she partnered with corporate clients to design and deliver employee benefits solutions, health and wellness strategies, insurance advisory services, and people-centric risk management programs while strengthening long-term client relationships.
Before joining Lockton, she served as Assistant Vice President at Howden Insurance Brokers Limited, where she advised organizations on employee benefits, health insurance solutions, and strategic risk management initiatives.
Earlier, Dr. Mehta spent more than four years with Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd., progressing through leadership positions including Deputy Chief Manager and Senior Manager. During her tenure, she managed corporate insurance portfolios, employee benefits consulting, client servicing, healthcare solutions, and strategic account management for leading organizations.
She previously spent nearly eight years with Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt. Ltd., steadily progressing through multiple leadership roles including Claims Manager, Assistant Manager – Claims, Team Leader – Claims, and Medical Executive – Claims Processing. During this period, she built extensive expertise in health insurance operations, claims management, medical underwriting support, healthcare administration, customer experience, and operational excellence.
Her consistent career progression across leading organizations reflects a strong track record of leadership, client advisory, healthcare expertise, and strategic people solutions within the insurance and employee benefits industry.
