We are sure that his extensive experience in digitalization, profitability, and scaling business models – both nationally and internationally – will contribute significantly to pushing forward our strategy and successfully shaping the future of our organization.”

Otto Group also acknowledged the contribution of the outgoing board member. Sergio Bucher, an internationally renowned business executive with wide-ranging experience in global retail and brand management, has been a member of the Otto Group Executive Board since 1 February 2020. Prof. Dr. Michael Otto, current Chair of the Foundation and Shareholders’ Council and Honorary Chair of the Supervisory Board, stated: “Over the past six years, Sergio Bucher has drawn on his international expertise, his keen eye for detail, and immense passion to strengthen and sustainably advance the Otto Group. We would like to thank him sincerely for his extraordinary achievements and look forward to welcoming him as an experienced advisor to the Otto Group Supervisory Board and to him continuing as a member of the Bonprix Advisory Board.”

Prior to joining the Otto Group Executive Board, Dr. Philipp Andrée spent close to three years at Douglas Group, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and earlier as CDO Douglas Group, playing a key role in strengthening commercial and digital leadership in the beauty retail sector.

Before Douglas, he held a long-term leadership journey of nearly eight years with Tchibo, including serving as Member of the Executive Board Digital & Marketing (Geschäftsführer). He also led strategic roles spanning Director Marketing & Online Sales, Director Online Sales, and Head of Online Expansion, contributing to scaled digital growth and omnichannel execution.

Dr. Andrée also served for nearly two years as Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) at Department47 GmbH (Pro7Sat1) und ISA GmbH, strengthening his experience in digital business building and strategic execution.

Earlier in his career, he spent over five years at McKinsey & Company as Consultant / Engagement Manager, building a strong foundation in strategy, transformation, performance improvement, and business model scaling.
