Pune, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Bioprime™, an emerging agri-biotech startup focused on climate-resilient crop solutions, has announced the appointment of Dr. Prashant Pawar as its new Head – People Strategy and Learning Initiatives. In his new role, Dr. Pawar will spearhead human capital strategy and organizational learning, aligning people priorities with Bioprime’s rapid scale-up journey and innovation goals.
Before joining Bioprime™, Dr. Prashant Pawar served as AVP at Kan Biosys Pvt. Ltd., where he played a key role in strengthening human resources, learning strategies, and channel training across agritech ecosystems. Over his nearly four-year tenure, he also held dual responsibilities as Head of Learning and Development and GM – Training and Development, where he led initiatives in digital learning, crop advisory training, and succession planning tailored for farmers and internal teams.

Prior to this, he served as Startup Mentor and Trainer at Atal Incubation Centre-MIT ADT, enabling early-stage ventures with learning and leadership development strategies. He also worked as a Senior Learning Consultant with Ripples Learning, where he specialized in performance management, selection design, and behavioral training modules for diverse industries.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Pawar worked with agribusiness players like Malshej Agrotech Pvt. Ltd. and Varad Hi Tech Agri, where he led initiatives in talent development, HR administration, and training delivery. He began his career with stints at global firms including Hitachi Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. and HP, gaining experience in induction, recruitment, policy formulation, and employee engagement across Indian and US teams.
