Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Dr. Rajiv Sinha has taken on a new role as Head – HR Digital Transformation & Digital Learning at Larsen & Toubro, effective April 1, 2026. This appointment marks an important milestone in his long-standing journey with the organization and reflects deep expertise across digital learning, HR transformation, knowledge management, and business excellence.
Before stepping into this role, Dr. Rajiv Sinha served at Larsen & Toubro as Head–Business Excellence & Digital Learning, Corporate HR, Learning & Development for a decade. Prior to that, he was Head – IT Application & Knowledge Management for GCC Operations and earlier Deputy General Manager, Knowledge Management & IT. His progression within L&T reflects a strong and sustained leadership journey across learning, digital systems, HR excellence, IT applications, and organizational capability building.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with Tata Steel as Manager – Improvement Group, where he worked across knowledge management and various process improvement initiatives. Together, his experience across Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel reflects a long and accomplished career focused on digital learning, business excellence, knowledge management, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
Academically, Dr. Rajiv Sinha holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Knowledge Management from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. This strong academic foundation complements a distinguished professional journey shaped by leadership across learning, digital transformation, and improvement excellence.
With experience spanning HR digital transformation, LMS and LXP initiatives, digital academies, business excellence, and knowledge management, Dr. Rajiv Sinha brings a strong and well-rounded leadership profile to his new role. His appointment is expected to support Larsen & Toubro as it continues to strengthen its HR digital agenda and organizational capability development.
