Gurugram, Haryana, India, November 2025 — Medanta – The Medicity, one of India’s largest multi-super specialty healthcare institutions, has appointed Dr. Raman Arora as Director of Histopathology, marking a significant addition to its leadership team in diagnostics and precision medicine. With over two decades of experience in histopathology, oncopathology, and healthcare management, Dr. Arora brings a distinguished blend of clinical acumen and operational expertise that will enhance Medanta’s diagnostic excellence.
In his new role, Dr. Arora will focus on strengthening Medanta’s histopathology division through innovation, process optimization, and data-driven quality initiatives, aligning with the hospital’s mission of delivering world-class healthcare through accuracy, technology, and patient-centricity.
Prior to joining Medanta, he served as Director and Head of Histopathology at Max Healthcare, where he spearheaded several key advancements, including the establishment of a dedicated Histopathology Institute and the implementation of efficiency-driven workflows that significantly reduced diagnostic turnaround times. Beyond institutional roles, he is the Founder of Pathology Mentor, an initiative designed to guide and mentor aspiring pathologists, promoting excellence and innovation in laboratory medicine.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Arora held leadership and specialist roles at Jaypee Hospital, CORE Diagnostics, Quest Diagnostics, Lal Path Labs, and Oncquest Labs. He began his professional journey with a Senior Residency at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he developed his foundational expertise in surgical pathology and oncopathology. His appointment reinforces Medanta’s commitment to advancing diagnostic accuracy and setting new benchmarks in integrated healthcare.
