Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2026 — Airtel has promoted Shruti Gupta to Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Head, Employee Experience and Services. In her expanded leadership role, she will spearhead the organization’s employee experience strategy and people services agenda, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, workplace experience, service excellence, and organizational culture across the business.
Shruti Gupta has built an accomplished career in human resources with deep expertise across talent management, employee experience, HR business partnering, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Prior to her promotion, she served as General Manager – Head, Talent Management at Airtel, where she led strategic talent initiatives focused on leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and capability building to strengthen the organization’s talent pipeline.
Since joining Airtel in 2018, Shruti has held a series of progressively responsible leadership roles, including Diversity and Inclusion Lead, Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, Manager – HR Business Partner, Manager – Talent Acquisition, and Talent Acquisition Lead. Throughout her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening talent acquisition, embedding inclusive people practices, partnering closely with business leaders, and driving HR initiatives that support organizational growth and employee engagement.
Before joining Airtel, Shruti spent nearly three years with Aircel, where she held multiple HR leadership roles, including Assistant Manager – Corporate HR, Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, and Management Trainee – HR. During this period, she managed end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives, and onboarding while supporting critical business expansion and sales ramp-up programs. She began her professional journey as a Management Trainee – HR at KPMG India, gaining early experience in talent acquisition and employer branding.
With more than 11 years of HR leadership experience, Shruti has established expertise in employee experience, talent management, HR business partnering, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, organizational capability, and people strategy. Her promotion reflects Airtel’s confidence in her ability to shape a differentiated employee experience while strengthening the organization’s people-first culture as it continues its growth and digital transformation journey.
