Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, September 2024 – Dr. Sanjeev Rastogi has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer – GCC at Adani Group. In his new role, Dr. Rastogi will lead the operations and strategic growth of Adani Group’s businesses across the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region, further strengthening the group’s global presence.
Before joining Adani Group, Dr. Sanjeev Rastogi served as Partner and Head Capability Enhancement Centers at Deloitte Shared Services LLP for nearly four years. He played a critical role in overseeing over 6,000 employees, driving growth, and implementing strategic initiatives such as automation and the establishment of Centers of Excellence. His leadership contributed to significant cost savings and operational improvements across multiple business functions.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Rastogi was the Head of APAC Business Services and Managing Director at Syngenta Services Private Limited, where he led a cross-functional team spread across 19 countries. He was instrumental in establishing Syngenta’s Global Delivery Center in Pune, India, overseeing over 900 employees and driving digital transformation across various business services, including IT, finance, and HR.
Dr. Rastogi also served as Director of Operations at Metro Global Business Services for nearly five years, where he played a pivotal role in setting up a finance shared service center in Pune. His efforts resulted in optimized processes, cost savings, and the successful transition of finance operations across 25 countries.
In his earlier career, Dr. Rastogi was the Senior Director of Operations at Hewlett Packard, managing worldwide finance, HR, payroll, and procurement teams. He led a team of 2,000 employees and implemented several strategic initiatives that drove efficiency, cost savings, and successful mergers and acquisitions within HP’s global operations.
