New Delhi, Delhi, India, August 2024 – Dr. Sugato Palit has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Globus Spirits. In his new role, Dr. Palit will lead the HR function for Globus Spirits, focusing on aligning the human resources strategy with the company’s growth objectives and ensuring a dynamic, inclusive, and performance-driven culture across the organization.
Prior to joining Globus Spirits, Dr. Sugato Palit was the Co-founder & Director at Absolute Spark Solutions LLP for over 4 years. In this role, he was dedicated to helping corporates and institutions achieve greater success by engineering customized solutions based on deep corporate experience.
Before that, Dr. Palit served as a Chief HR Officer at VARUN BEVERAGES LIMITED for 3 years and 6 months. During his tenure, he led one of the biggest transitions in the beverage space in India by moving 2,500 PepsiCo employees into VBL roles.
Earlier in his career, he was the CEO at Accumen, an entrepreneurial venture focused on organizational transformation and change management. This role saw him providing strategic HR consulting services and driving measurable returns on investments for clients.
In addition to these roles, Dr. Palit has held senior HR leadership positions at Experion Developers Pvt Ltd, Alliance Tires, Onida, Perfetti Van Melle India Pvt. Ltd., Pernod Ricard, SABMiller, and Marico Ltd. His extensive experience spans across HR strategy, leadership development, change management, and organizational culture.
