Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, December 2024 – Edgars Pilips has assumed the role of Acting Head of People & Culture at Luminor Group, taking charge of shaping the organization’s workplace culture and further strengthening its people strategy across the Baltic region. Pilips aims to build on Luminor’s reputation as a leading employer while fostering a vibrant and dynamic People team to support the bank’s growth.
Pilips has been a key part of Luminor Group for nearly seven years, holding pivotal roles that contributed to the company’s HR transformation and development. Most recently, he served as Head of Rewards and Experience, where he managed remuneration strategies, collaborated with senior leadership on policy development, and spearheaded critical initiatives across the Baltics.

Before this, he was Head of People Experience (Baltics), overseeing HR operations, data analytics, and cross-border process standardization. His earlier tenure as Head of People Latvia and Transformation Lead (Baltics) saw him lead leadership development, succession planning, and the implementation of Luminor’s operating model, including a significant structural transformation.
Prior to Luminor, Pilips held senior HR roles at Rimi Baltic Group, Swedbank, and Citadele banka, specializing in total rewards, workforce planning, and leadership development. His career also includes expertise in HR systems, change management, and consulting roles at Tet.lv and Baltic Consulting.
