Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, May 2026 — Edwin Sudhakar has announced his return to Saksoft as Senior Vice President – Talent, marking a homecoming to the organization after 16 years. In his announcement, Edwin shared his excitement about rejoining the company and highlighted Saksoft’s continued rigor and focus on growth.
Prior to rejoining Saksoft, Edwin spent more than 15 years with Virtusa, where he held several senior HR and talent leadership positions across Asia Pacific and ANZ regions. Most recently, he served as Head – HR (APAC and ANZ), leading talent acquisition, learning and development, logistics, and immigration teams across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, and Hong Kong.
During his tenure at Virtusa, Edwin drove employee engagement initiatives, succession planning, digital HR transformation, and business-aligned talent strategies. He also played a significant role in achieving Best Employer certifications across Singapore and Australia.
Earlier at Virtusa, he served as Asia Hiring Lead & Leadership Hiring, managing lateral and leadership hiring across India, Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka while driving social hiring strategies, automation, and gamification initiatives. He also held the role of Head – HR, Chennai ATC, where he managed HR operations for a workforce of around 1,800 employees and focused on talent management, retention, and employee engagement.
Before Virtusa, Edwin worked with Saksoft as Head – Recruitment Function, leading recruitment operations across locations and managing hiring for technical and leadership positions.
His earlier career also includes HR and recruitment leadership roles with Sify Technologies, iGATE Global Solutions, Hexaware Technologies, Deloitte Consulting, Scope International, and e-Calyx and Indchem.
