Baku, Baku, Azerbaijan, April 2025 – Elvin Suleymanov has stepped into a new leadership role as Head of Human Resources Business Partnering at OBA Marketlər Şəbəkəsi, Azerbaijan’s largest convenience store chain. In this strategic position, Elvin will lead the HR business partnering function, aligning people strategies with the organization’s ambitious growth and transformation agenda across its 1300+ store network.
Elvin brings over a decade of multi-sector experience in human resources, operations, and business development. Prior to joining OBA, he served as Leading Human Resources Specialist at Veyseloglu Group of Companies for nearly seven years, where he supported the evolution of HR processes in one of the region’s most prominent conglomerates. His role spanned critical HR areas including performance management, employee relations, and strategic workforce planning.
Simultaneously, he has held the position of Director at Business Development Center, contributing to organizational growth and capability-building initiatives since November 2021. Elvin’s foundation in operations was formed during his time as an Operational Specialist at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan – ASAN Xidmət, where he worked on citizen service enhancement and government innovation programs.
Earlier in his career, he gained experience through roles at AXA MBASK OJSC, AccessBank Azerbaijan, and Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank, adding operational, service, and compliance expertise to his professional portfolio.
