Cairo, Egypt, December 2025 – Emad Abdeen has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at UBM Corporate, strengthening the leadership team of the Middle East–based pharmaceutical and biological industries group. In his new role, he will lead enterprise-wide human capital strategy, organizational development, leadership capability building, and culture transformation across UBM Corporate’s diversified pharmaceutical manufacturing, vaccine, and life-science operations.
With over three decades of professional experience, Emad Abdeen brings deep expertise in strategic human capital leadership, organizational development, and business transformation across pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, and consulting environments. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Group Director of Human Resources at UBM Corporate, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening HR governance, leadership development frameworks, organizational structures, and culture integration across group companies.
Before joining UBM Corporate, Emad held senior HR leadership positions with leading organizations including Zeta Pharma, MPI Arabia, Majestic BioPharma, and EverHealth Samsung MEA, where he led HR transformation initiatives, performance management systems, compensation frameworks, and workforce capability programs across regional operations.
Alongside his corporate leadership career, Emad has also built a distinguished consulting career spanning more than fifteen years, advising pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, and financial institutions across Egypt and the Middle East on organizational development, leadership capability building, and HR governance.
He began his professional journey in pharmaceutical sales and marketing leadership roles with multinational organizations including Novartis, building a strong foundation in market expansion, sales effectiveness, and business performance management that shaped his human-centric leadership philosophy.
Emad holds a Diploma in Professional Sales & Marketing from The American University in Cairo and an MIBA in Business Administration and Management from Paris ESLSCA Business School, reflecting his strong academic grounding in business leadership and people development.
