Palo Alto, California, United States, September 2025 – Rivian has announced the appointment of Erica Zoromski as its new Vice President of Employee Experience. In this role, Zoromski will lead Rivian’s People Experience team, overseeing Total Rewards, People Operations, and Employee Experience, with a mandate to strengthen people practices that align with Rivian’s culture and business growth.
Confirming the appointment, R Scott Griffin, Chief People Officer, Rivian, said: “On behalf of Rivian, I am delighted to welcome Erica Zoromski as our new VP of Employee Experience. Erica will be instrumental in piloting our integrated end-to-end employee experience, and we are thrilled to have her leadership and expertise to strengthen this critical area.”
Zoromski brings more than two decades of progressive HR leadership experience across technology, healthcare, and global operations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of HR Strategy & Operations at Gilead Sciences for over four years. There, she led a global team of 130 professionals across People Technology, Shared Services, Employee Relations, Compliance, Analytics, and Change & Communications. She spearheaded Gilead’s multi-year HR transformation, scaling its HR Shared Services and driving efficiency, effectiveness, and impact for the future.
Before Gilead, Zoromski was Vice President of People Solutions at Poly, an HP company, where she was responsible for Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, Compliance, Analytics, and Shared Services globally. She played a key role in culture transformation projects, employer branding, and developing a shared services model across multiple regions.
Earlier in her career, she served as Director of People Operations at Meta (Facebook), where she managed People Operations teams across the U.S. and Latin America, scaling onboarding, learning, and diversity operations. Prior to Meta, she held senior HR leadership roles at Gap Inc., driving global HR operations, strategy, and project management, as well as leading corporate governance initiatives across its multiple brands.
Zoromski began her HR career in training and organizational development roles, including positions at Lehman Brothers, UCSF, LifeMasters Supported SelfCare, Banana Republic, and Coverity. She also served as an Advisory Board Member at Bonfire Digital Wellness, supporting youth mental fitness initiatives.
She holds a Master’s in Human Resources Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.
