Erika Coplen Appointed as Head of Human Resources at Kordsa

Istanbul, Turkey, August 2024 – Erika Coplen has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at Kordsa, a global leader in reinforcement technologies. In her new role, Erika will lead the company’s human resources strategy, driving initiatives that align with Kordsa’s mission of innovation and market leadership.

Erika Coplen brings extensive HR experience to Kordsa, having most recently served as the Human Resources Director at Velocity Vehicle Group for approximately 6 months. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Before that, Erika was the Human Resources Director at Proterra Inc for around 2 years and 8 months, where she led HR initiatives that supported the company’s rapid growth and sustainability mission in the electric vehicle sector.

Earlier in her career, Erika held the position of Human Resources Manager at West Coast Corporation for approximately 1 year and 3 months. In this role, she managed HR operations and contributed to the development of a robust human resources framework that supported the company’s growth and operational efficiency.

Summarized Experience: Erika’s career includes significant HR leadership roles at FabFitFun, where she developed a new HR department during a period of aggressive growth, and at R.W. Lyall, Division of Hubbell, Inc., where she aligned HR strategies with business goals. Additionally, she served as the Regional Human Resources Manager at Kim Lighting / AAL / Precision-Paragon, where she managed HR functions across multiple locations and contributed to strategic HR initiatives.
