Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, September 2025 — Erin Cain has been appointed as Director, Global People Solutions Operations at Viatris. In her new role, she will oversee global HR service delivery, ensuring operational excellence, process optimization, and consistent employee experiences across regions.
Erin Cain has been with Viatris for nearly five years, steadily advancing through leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Manager, NA & LATAM People Services & Global Training, where she led regional people operations and implemented global training frameworks. Prior to this, she held roles as Manager, NA & LATAM People Services and Manager, NA & LATAM HR Service Center, strengthening HR service delivery and employee support functions across North and Latin America.
Before Viatris, Erin built a significant part of her career at Mylan, where she spent over 13 years in progressive HR service roles. She began as an Employee Service Associate and grew into leadership, culminating as Manager, NA HR Service Center. During her tenure, she played an integral role in knowledge management, HR operations, and service center transformation, directly contributing to Mylan’s global HR capability expansion.
Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience in the hospitality sector as a Human Resources Coordinator at Interstate Hotels & Resorts (now part of Aimbridge Hospitality), where she managed employee support, onboarding, and HR administration for over four years.
Erin holds an MBA in Business Administration from PennWest California, equipping her with strong strategic, operational, and leadership skills to drive organizational effectiveness.
