Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States, October 2024 – Erin Hicks has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer at Spectra Medical Devices, LLC, where she will lead the company’s global HR strategies, drive employee engagement, and foster a culture of innovation and growth. In her new role, Erin will be responsible for overseeing talent management, organizational development, and DEI initiatives to support Spectra’s continued success as a leader in the medical device industry.
Erin joins Spectra after serving as Global Vice President of Human Resources at Spectra Medical Devices for over two years, where she managed global HR operations and drove key initiatives across multiple locations. Her tenure was marked by improvements in employee engagement, benefits management, and diversity initiatives.
Prior to joining Spectra, Erin held the position of Senior Director of Human Resources at Applied Materials for over five years, where she was a key strategic HR partner to the business units. She played a pivotal role in aligning talent strategies with business goals, driving culture initiatives, and overseeing the HRBP team for a global workforce.
Earlier in her career, Erin served as a Principal HR Business Partner at Medtronic, where she was responsible for talent planning and succession strategies, employee engagement, and managing HR aspects of M&A integrations. Her experience in leadership development and organizational strategy helped Medtronic improve employee performance and retention.
Erin also brings extensive experience from her consulting work through eghrConsulting, where she provided HR advisory services to small tech companies, and her earlier roles at Express Scripts and Direct Marketing Concepts, where she led HR operations and developed human capital strategies.
