Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, October 2025 — Farbod Mirhashemy has joined CIMS Limited Partnership as Director, Human Resources, bringing over two decades of extensive experience in human resources leadership, organizational development, and workforce transformation across industrial, non-profit, and corporate sectors. In this role, he will lead CIMS’ HR function across Canada, driving initiatives in talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement to support the company’s continued growth in industrial construction and maintenance.
Before joining CIMS, Farbod served as Senior Director of Human Resources at BC SPCA, where he led a province-wide HR and Health & Safety team supporting nearly 40 locations across British Columbia. During his tenure, he implemented strategic HR initiatives that strengthened workforce capability, enhanced engagement, and supported the organization’s mission-driven culture.
Prior to that, he served as Director of Human Resources (Head of HR) at ABC Recycling, Western Canada’s largest scrap metal recycling company. Reporting directly to the CEO, he developed structured total rewards programs, introduced annual goal-setting processes, led executive restructuring, and oversaw labour relations negotiations. His leadership helped shape ABC Recycling’s organizational culture and positioned it as an employer of choice across multiple regions.
Earlier, at Ledcor Group, Farbod held several key HR roles, including Manager, Recruiting and Human Resources Business Partner, where he supported diversified construction and infrastructure businesses across North America. His earlier career spans HR leadership positions at BC Bearing Group of Companies and Business Objects (now SAP), where he built deep expertise in talent acquisition, benefits management, and organizational effectiveness.
With a strong foundation in strategic HR leadership and people-centered transformation, Farbod is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing CIMS Limited Partnership’s vision of excellence, safety, and people-first operations across Canada’s industrial landscape.
