United States, June 2024 – Francis Kennedy has joined TIAA as the new Sr Director HR Analytics. With a robust background in HR analytics, data science, and strategic workforce management, Francis brings extensive expertise to the team, aiming to enhance the company’s HR strategies and data-driven decision-making processes.
Before joining TIAA, Francis served at Wells Fargo for over 18 years, holding various senior positions. As the Executive Director Analytics Senior Manager for nearly 3 years, he led a team of SAS and SQL developers to identify customer populations for remediation strategies, ensuring all affected customers were cared for and made whole.
Francis also held the role of Manager Workforce Management for about 1 year, where he managed a team using various applications to monitor and strategically schedule agents to optimize customer demand. He expanded workforce management support from 3 teams to 8 teams in less than 9 months.
As the VP Credit Risk Analytics Senior Associate for approximately 1 year and 4 months, he transformed credit risk from an ad-hoc analytics request team into a forward-focused line of business, leading daily sprint calls and standardizing SAS, JSON, and SQL code structures.
In his 3-year tenure as VP Forecasting and Strategic Analytics, Francis led the Home Preservation forecast team, providing insights on customers needing payment assistance and presenting forecasts to SVP leadership. He collaborated with operations, capacity planning, and finance teams to translate volume forecasts into staffing and financial forecasts.
Earlier in his career at Wells Fargo, Francis served as the VP Performance Analytics Consultant for over 3 years, connecting team members and business units through incentive plan design, capacity planning, and performance consulting. He also worked as a Financial Consultant for 6 years, translating operations data into expense forecasts and supporting a $200MM department expense budget.
His early career includes a role as a Customer Service Representative and serving as a Staff Sergeant in the Iowa Air National Guard.
